Dear CVB Staff & Church Family, especially the Choir,
Words are inadequate to thank you for the kind concern you showed and the many prayers you offered in the past year for my parents, Gordon and Bobbie Hixson. Thank you again for your caring and your prayers. They know, Steve and I and our kids know, that has made all the difference.
Love in Christ, Karen Phillips

Thank you so very much for the kindness your church showed to our family during the loss of our brother, Michael. The food, thoughts, and prayers will never be forgotten. May God bless you. Our brother and his family were blessed to have a church family like yours.

Youth Ministry Seeking Prayer Ministry Coordinator

Bro. Tommy is interested in interviewing adult candidates for a unique prayer ministry named “Shout 365”.  Potential candidates would posses the typical Type-A personality, but with the patience to complete a major task that will impact young people and college students for an eternity.  The Shout 365 Coordinator will work closely with Bro. Tommy to implement the Shout 365 prayer strategy.  Anyone interested in learning further information are encouraged to contact Bro. Tommy at the church office.

Shout 365 Intentional Goals:

Mobilize 25-40% and more of our church’s Sunday morning AM attendance into the lives of church students
Cover 100% of the church’s middle school through college-age students with at least one prayer mentor
- Grow the number of prayer mentors from year to year
- Grow the prayer mentor’s effectiveness in prayers
- Move prayer mentors from providing encouragement to more personal involvement in the lives of students

You can have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ!

First, realize God loves you...

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Second, realize everyone is a sinner...

Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Third, realize sin has a price that must be paid...

Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Fourth, realize Jesus Christ died to pay your price...

Romans 5:8 - "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Finally, pray, ask Jesus Christ to be your Saviour, and claim His promise of eternal life...

Romans 10:13 - "For whosoever shall all upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
