Deacon Recommendation
On Sunday, July 18, 2010, each member will have the opportunity to recommend for consideration six men for the office of Active Deacon. the following men are now serving as Active Deacons and SHOULD NOT be considered.

You may recommend for consideration the men listed in the above paragraph, six unordained men from the Church body or any other combination of the two, but no more than a total of six recommendations.
To refresh your mind, review Acts 6:1-7 and 1 Timothy 3:8-13 along with the Church Covenant.

Mission Team

HIPAA Certification Class
To those who have expressed an interest in attending the HIPAA Class at Parkridge Medical Center on July 16th, please pick up forms at the church office, have them filled out and bring with you to class. Also, please let Billy Jacks know as soon as possible, so you can be counted. The class is limited to how many can attend and is filling up fast.

Wayne Johnson Appreciation Day
We will celebrate Wayne Johnson Day on Sunday, July 18th. The service on this day will honor Wayne and his service for the Lord. We will have a table set up for you to leave notes, cards and any Love Offering you would like to give Wayne and Mary Anna. If you want to give a Love Offering, place it in the offering plate and we will make sure the family gets it. Please make checks payable to the church and note that it is for Wayne Johnson.
Young at Heart
The next scheduled meeting for Young at Heart will be July 20th. Please bring your covered dish and join us for food, fellowship and fun.

Third, realize sin has a price that must be paid...
Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Fourth, realize Jesus Christ died to pay your price...
Romans 5:8 - "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Finally, pray, ask Jesus Christ to be your Saviour, and claim His promise of eternal life...
Romans 10:13 - "For whosoever shall all upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
